Lilies burn with your desire
Intoxicating spirit fire
As oak and myrrh and mugwort burn
Elder, chamomile, and fern
The sacred serpent eats the Spring
Then brings Autumn on the wing
Burning wreaths of sweet vervain
The Goddess will return again.
