The Red-tailed Hawk In Our Maple Tree

Today, I noticed we have a new member in our neighborhood. Since I feed the small birds, we also have a predator, the Red-tailed hawk. It is cold and a wintery mix of rain and snow comes from the sky. The hawk tries to stay warm by making its rounds until it finds a weak link, which is easy to catch for dinner. It just sits in the maple tree and watches for its prey.
